A Few of My Favorite Beauty Products:

No matter if I'm traveling or at home these are a few of my favorite items.

  • Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer -I love this because I don't really like wearing a lot of makeup and this is just enough coverage to even out my skin and give it a little glow. It comes in 3 shades and I specifically like to use the Illuminating.

  • Happy Spritz Towelettes- These little babies are awesome to keep in your nightstand drawer, gym bag or glove box. I especially love the "Breathe Deeply"scent. It has notes of peppermint and ecualyptus which is one of my favorite aromatherapy smells. Check out their other products such as the mini spritz bottles and the Rollie both of which are also great for travel.

  • My hair tends to get dry on the ends and look damaged from blow drying and straightening. I really like to use Davines OI Oil or Moroccan oil treatment on the ends of my hair. When you use these products always use a dime size amount or less. I also like to add the oil when my hair is wet, but you can add after drying as well. Another trick is when my hair is dirty and I use dry shampoo for a few days it tends to start to look chalky and dry so adding a little oil on the ends tends to revive it.

  • Smiths Rosebud Salve smells delicious and keeps my lips hydrated and gives them a little gloss and color. Alec and I tend to share chapstick since we are always in the car. If we are sharing it's normally Burt's Bees Original . I think we have about 10 in the house at any given time.

  • My Mom is an amazing esthetician in Asheville (The Skin Sanctuary) and works with a couple of lines of skincare (Neo & PCA). The one I've been using for years now is PCA. I like it because it's a medical grade line that's not too harsh on my skin, but gives me more than an over counter product. Here's my daily routine: 1. Wash with Creamy Cleanser (when I'm dryer) or if I'm feeling more oily I'll use the Facial Wash  2. Use 1-2 pumps of my Total Strength Serum & Hydrator Serum  3. Pat on the Eyescellence Eye Cream around my eyes. 4. Place Hydrator Plus face lotion sunscreen all over my face (always wear sunscreen). 5. In the evening I wash my face again then use my Hydrating Balm.

  • I finally learned how to make Dry Shampoo work for me. I can go 2-3 days without washing. A little trick I learned is to place it in your hair the night before so it soaks up the oil over night. In the am if I need a little bit more I'll spray it, let it set and then work it in with my fingers. I like to take a hairdryer to my hair and use my round brush. This helps me build volume. For a cheapie I like to use Batiste and for a splurge I like Living Proof.

  • Last but not least I'm a believer in a having your own signature scent. I've worn Jo Malone's Oud & Bergamont for a few years now and I get so many compliments on how good it smells. Jo Malone has so many different combinations to try and you can even mix and match them to find your own signature scent.

These are just a few of my favorite things. I hope you find something out of this list you'll love too. I'll continue sharing more products that I love.

Cheers,

KEC
