Asheville's Dog Friendly Coffee Shops

I love to be able to take Izzie to work with me so coffee shops tend to be our go-to work spots. I've curated a list of the top dog-friendly coffee shops in Asheville for you and your four-legged friend to enjoy.

1. East Asheville:

Filo is a European style coffee shop with fabulous pastries. They have a front patio with a few tables and umbrellas. It tends to be pretty quiet on the patio so you're sure to have uninterrupted workflow.

2. River Arts District:

Ultra Coffee Bar located right in the middle of the RAD has a small side patio that will accommodate your fur friend. Make sure order one of their killer sandwiches for brain food.

Summit Coffee Shop has a great semi-shaded front gravel outdoor area for dogs. Make sure to grab a creamy nitro cold brew while you're there.

3. Downtown:

Trade and Lore is located right on the unique street called Wall Street. Post up on their side courtyard and be ready to people watch.

Battery Park Book Exchange wins the award for the most dog-friendly. Not only do they have a nice front patio area your well-behaved dog is allowed inside with you while you enjoy a cheese plate and glass of champagne.

High Five Coffee has multiple locations so make you head over to the Broadway location that has a nice front patio and is a 5 min walk from downtown Asheville. High Five is very popular and can get busy in the afternoon so make sure to get your patio spot early.

4. Biltmore Village:

10th Muse is a lovely indoor/outdoor space. They love to see your furry friend show up and have a fun menu full of nostalgic childhood food and drink items such as cinnamon toast and drinks named after your favorite movies such as "Dark Side Nutella Late." Make sure to tell Christian we sent you.

5. North Asheville:

High Five Coffee opened up a sweet little coffee shop right on the banks of the French Broad River. They are right at a take out spot for your kayak so grab an iced coffee, your dog and hit the river.
