Whether you are visiting or live in Asheville. Make the most of Fall by getting out and partaking in these Fall activities.
Bike- My favorite way to see a city is via 2 wheels. Don't worry about the hills. Go rental an E-Bike and tool around on your own or take an E-Bike Tour.
Hike- Asheville is known for hiking and most trails are a little ways outside of town. Select your hike via difficulty, distance and via views (waterfalls, vistas etc..) here . Personal favorites are Black Balsam , Craggy Pinnacle and Graveyard Field .
Water- Get out on the water to experience the color from down low. Rent your SUP, kayak or canoe or book a tour. You can book your rental or tour from French Broad Outfitters or Asheville Outdoor Center.
Apple Picking- Nothing says fall like hot apple cider, apple donuts and apple orchards. Feel free to stroll the orchards, take photos, eat and drink or take it another step and harvest your own apples to take home. There are plenty of orchard option in Henderson County. Check them all out here
Zip Lining- Take in the color while flying through the trees with Navitat.
Libations on South Slope- Stroll the south slope area of downtown and take in all the fall cocktails and beers. Here's a list of breweries, food and bars.

Picnic- Grab your picnic and head out on the parkway, to the lake, park or in your own backyard. Two of my favorite options are a grab and go charcuterie board for 2 from South Slope Cheese or a fully customized picnic from The Rhu.
